We love this bacon ranch chopped salad because it’s so versatile. It’s loaded with all kinds of delicious vegetables, but if you don’t like any of them, you can leave them out. Plus, the creamy dressing really makes this salad. You can easily make it a day in advance, and it’s still wonderful!
🍴KEY INGREDIENTS
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Red Onion
- Green Bell Pepper
- Red Sweet Bell Pepper
- Carrots
- Bacon
- Colby Jack Cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Sour Cream
- Dry Ranch Mix
🍽️HOW TO MAKE
The hardest thing about this salad is cutting up the veggies! Once you cut everything up, it comes together very quickly!
COOKING STEPS
Step 1
Chop up all vegetables to your desired size. Mix dressing ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix together and toss well.

I have made this a few times. The first time, I used Duke’s Mayonnaise and the second time, I used Avocado Oil Mayonnaise, and both times, it was delicious.

This Bacon Ranch Chopped Salad is loaded in delicious vegetables and topped with a creamy ranch dressing. Super versatile and great with any meal.
- 3-4 cups of broccoli florets finely chopped
- 3-4 cups of cauliflower finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of red onion diced
- 1/2 cup of green bell pepper diced
- 1/2 cup of red sweet pepper diced
- 1/2 cup of carrots finely sliced and diced
- 1/2 cup of sweet corn I used canned
- 10 slices of bacon cooked, drained and chopped
- 1 cup of colby jack cheese shredded
- Dressing:
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise see notes
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 2.5 tablespoons of dry Ranch Mix
